We are Boy Scouts of America Troop 842 in Coppell, Texas, chartered by the First United Methodist Church in Coppell.

We meet on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm at 420 South Heartz Road in Coppell.  You are welcome to visit and learn more about us.

Online Adult Training Opportunities

We are eagerly awaiting the day when we can gather together as a troop.  While we are stuck in doors, there are a few things we can do to prepare for ourselves for this. 

Jamboree on the Internet

This weekend, the worldwide Scouting program is holding a global Internet Jamboree. This is an opportunity to engage, interact and learn.  There is no need to register, just go to the Jamboree website this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  If you want to start exploring content now, you can go to the Jamboree “campsite” to get information about what’s coming this weekend.

Court of Honor Rescheduled - Next Meeting date to be determined

On the advice from council we are currently not holding any in person meetings or campouts through at least April 17.  The situation is fluid so keep an eye out on emails and the troop web site for updates. 

Camp Cards

Camp Cards are a great way for scouts to fund their Summer Camp and other scouting activities. Each Camp Card has multiple food, service and entertainment discounts for customers and is sold for only $10 to the general public. Half the proceeds go into the Scout's account and so - the more you sell the more you get to help fund your activities.
