We are Boy Scouts of America Troop 842 in Coppell, Texas, chartered by the First United Methodist Church in Coppell.

We meet on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm at 420 South Heartz Road in Coppell.  You are welcome to visit and learn more about us.

December 16th Troop Meeting

Personal Fitness Merit Badge class 6pm.  For those already in the class.

Troop Meeting 7-8pm.

Activity: Annual Chili Cook-Off.  See separate article for sign-up to bring something.

Thunderbird Patrol on Setup, flag and cleanup duty (arrive by 6:45pm to set up and get the flags ready; don't leave until everything is packed away).

Please make sure you pick up your recharter packet from Mrs. Ifflander, or contact Mrs. Iffander if you are not planning to renew your membership.  You can bring your completed packet to turn in this week at the meeting.  All recharter packets turned in by the end of this meeting will be entered into a draw for 50% off summer camp fees.

Scouts: Scribes will have the attendance forms ready for you to check in on arrival at the meeting.  Please look out for them.

Seabase 2015

Hey Scouts!!
Now that school is back in session, it's time to begin thinking about next summer!!  This past year, we sent scouts to Philmont in New Mexico and The Summit in West Virginia.  For 2015, we are planning on sending scouts on a sea adventure at Florida Sea Base High Adventure in the Florida Keys!!  The age requirements are 13-years-old and completed 8th grade.
